If I had to take out Barney,this is how I'd do it...

The next topic is a chance for the kids to vent a little in a creative manner.I don't think I'd want to cross paths with any of them!Read on,you're in for a laugh.

Rory:
A step-by-step guide to killing Barney.

Step 1:I'll give his head a name.

Step 2:I'll give his suit a name.

Step 3:Snip his ankles so he cant move.

Step 4:Tie him up to a chair and slowly disfigure his face with a angle-grinder.

Step 5:Soak him in hydrochloric acid until nothing is left.

Morgana:

How I'd take out Barney:

Six words-
1.pepper spray
2.knuckle duster
3.baseball bat
4.scalpel
5.a bag
6.hill / river

Kyra:

How I would take out Barney-
1.Lure him into a dark room via a little boy.
2.Push him into a pool and see how fast he sinks.
3.Slit his toungue and pour salt in his mouth.
4.Cut his tail off and shove it down his throat.
5.Wrap him up in barbwire.
6.Hang him upside down until his head explodes.
7.Paint a picture with his blood.

Rikus:

If I could kill Barney how would I kill him-

I would wait until he starts to sing.Then I will take my sniper rifle and blow his brains out of his head.Then I will take my car and throw his body in the car.I will drive to a lake then.I'll take the body and throw it in the lake.Then there is no evidence.I'll start singing "...And there is no more purple dinsoaur."

Steven:

If I could kill Barney I would rig the set so when he is singing a sand-bag would fall on him and he would be knocked out.Then I'll put him in a car and put it by a car-smasher and he would be squished and his guts will be eaten by rats hahahaha.

Miguel:

How will I kill Barney...I make the ladder loose and faulty so when he sings his stupid song and will jump on the ladder...the ladder will break and Barney will fall and land on a nail with blood gushing everywhere then a little boy hits his head off with a baseball bat.Then we shove a grenade in his crippled ugly purple head...(the rest is a little too much for 'pg' reading).

If I could be a colour,I would be...

Here are my student's reactions to the above topic (remember they are in grade 8):

Rikus:

If I could be a colour that I can choose I would only be able to choose 2.The reason why I want to be 2 colours is because I can't make my mind up.The 2 colours that I really would like to be is yellow and white.The reason why I would like to be white is because then I'm least attracted to the sun.Another reason why I would like to be white is because that's the colour God decided would look the best with me and I like to catch a tan.The reason because I would like to be yellow is because when Im sad / down the colour makes me happy and excited for the day again.Oh ya,and if I can be these 2 colours I must be able to choose when I want to be the colour.

Morgana and Kyra:

Why would we be a colour if all colours originated from black and white?It is simply a nerve in your brain reacting to reflections on the eye.Colour is simply an illusion to mankind to distinguish different objects or surroundings.It's a mindset that has been created to suit our lifestyle and to put moods and emotions into categories of colour.So,instead of a colour we would be the reflection of all colours.Real or unreal.

I wanna be silver because I can reflect light and be the Silver Surfer...and yes he is gay but built (very strong).

If I could be any colour I would be (bright green) because its cool and I can be seen from far and Im a light reflector isnt that cool?

If I were a colour I would be black because black attracts heat and I would really want to be cold hahahahahahaha genius in the making,take that Steven Hawkins and Einstein hahahahaha I like pie and its hot.

If I was a colour I would be transparent , no one can see me but they can hear me,I wouldn't be gauged by the colour of my skin.Mmm...no idea what to write after this.
